The Local Epicurean in East Lansing is a private, hands-on cooking experience on Grand River Avenue between East Lansing and Okemos. You come with your own group, from two to as many as 90 people, cook a three-course meal together with an instructor, then sit down and eat it. Most experiences run $99 to $129 a person depending on the menu. There’s also a full bar and a market with handmade pasta, sauces, take-and-bake meals and other culinary finds. Corporate team building, private events, Supper Clubs and wine tastings are hosted here throughout the year.
